How we started
Our Story
Moradian Engineering was founded by Chris Moradian, an accomplished engineer with a wealth of experience in design, construction, and project management for critical infrastructure projects in both the private and public sectors. Born to Ecuadorian and Iranian parents, Chris cultivated his passion for engineering at Martin Luther King Magnet in Nashville. With a solid foundation in Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and extensive work with the Department of Energy (DoE) and the Department of Defense (DoD), he initially launched the firm as an independent consultancy focused on mechanical engineering. The firm quickly grew to offer civil and structural engineering services in response to client demand. In 2020, Moradian Engineering established a physical presence in Nashville, providing services throughout Tennessee and beyond. Chris, who lives in Nashville with his wife, dog, and two cats, is deeply committed to using engineering as a means to benefit the world. His passions extend to animal rescue, fishing, mountain biking, and traveling, reflecting his belief in the power of engineering to improve the natural environment, wildlife, and diverse cultures and societies.
